Tourism Awareness Programme at Fuvahmulah DATE: 2005-06-28 Atoll Education Centre of Gnaviyani Atoll organised special lectures on Tourism for the students of Grade 8 and 9 to assist them in their Tourism Studies. This programme was held at Fuvahmulah Atoll Education Centre from June 23 to 24, 2005 and was conducted in association with the Maldives Tourism Promotion Board, Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Studies and Island Aviation Services. In addition, an awareness programme on Tourism Studies was also carried out for the Grade 7 students in Primary Schools of Fuvahmulah. This was to guide them in taking Tourism Studies module as an option when they start their studies in Grade 8 next year.
